Get ready to paddle into adventure! The first weekend of August Troop 148 is planning a family-friendly canoe trip to Blue’s Canoes Livery in Edinburgh, Indiana.

The trip will begin with a campout on Friday night, then we will spend Saturday paddling a scenic 7-mile stretch of the Driftwood river—a relaxing and beautiful trip that typically takes 3 to 5 hours. Then we’ll head back to Bloomington Saturday night.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Scouts and their families to unwind, bond, and make memories in nature. Whether you're a paddling pro or a first-timer, this trip is perfect for all experience levels. See you on the river!
